Chicago Motion Graphics Festival 2007 – The Premier Midwestern Event catering to 3D and Compositing Effects, January 25-28th 2007, at various locations in downtown Chicago. This four-day festival pairs daily educational opportunities with nightly industry events … The educational conference hosts workshop, lectures, panels and classes on all four days.

Now tell me that doesn’t look like a snazzy intro.

I’m scheduled to perform at two points during the event:

  1. In real life – Saturday night as intermission-type piano ambience. I’ll be performing between the graphical showpiece times at the Chicago Cultural Center.
  2. In Second Life at the lovely Muse Isle at 10pm (8pm SLT) Sunday night courtesy of Martha Cookie. Prior there will be discussion of the significance of online worlds.

The CMGF 2007 will be starting off this Wednesday with a free Onomatopoeia Informational pre-party at Dulcenea.

Events continue throughout the week at the Apple store, the Chicago Cultural Center, among other locations. Check out the full schedule and flyer.
