# ADHD and the Power of Care in Story with Guest Neal Foard

Vital to a wandering mind is the ability to communicate, to hopefully have others hear what we have to say. The exchange between ourselves and others can be fraught with so many worries
- - is what we are saying worthwhile?
- am I selfish by talking of myself or interests?
The same pattern shows up in creating and working with a business...
- - is what I'm selling worthwhile?
- am I being selfish in how I earn or set prices?
Sitting down with storyteller Neal Foard for an episode of the Rhythms of Focus, Neal and I discuss a central through-line of care, especially when so much of the present day discourse seems to be about harsher emotions, such as fear and rage.
When we can reflect on the positive, both in supporting ourselves and others, we can elevate the community. It sounds lofty, but an achievable goal nonetheless.
