Software in general as a means for creating sound is still something I'm trying to wrap my head around. I've been making a transition of the piano from my older hardware setup to a VST (software plugin). While it sounds amazing, I still feel like something gets lost in the translation from hardware to software. I'm not sure what that is, the feeling keeps nagging at me ...
