What was there before the Universe?
While there are several thoughts on the origins of the Universe ranging from a Big Bang to Creationism to lots of turtles on a flat plate, I'd like to float the idea that the Universe is really a wave itself with the big bang just one of many nodes.
There's something neat in the idea of a Universe as a song :-)
