Performance and the Creative Commons

I've been invited to play as part of the Creative Commons Popular Science Concert. You may have noticed their banners that I've had on posts and on the footer of the page that goes something like this:

Creative Commons License

The Creative Commons seems a good method for sharing and protecting art, music, and other creative endeavors. If you're involved in any sort of creative work, I'd recommend checking it out.

I'll be sharing the stage with the following groovetastic artists:

  • Slim Warrior - who, if you'll remember interviewed me a few weeks ago. Check out the Vodka interviews and her tunes.
  • Melvin Took - definitely an entertaining character by his various antics, outfits, and avatars throughout SL.
  • Etherian Kamaboko - very cool jam-based blues stuffs.
  • more may be added later. Check their site for the latest.

You can check the show out via Internet radio if you can't make it to SL, too: http://www.musebroadcast.com:8000/creativecommons.m3u
