James Bernard – Lost In It
A friend of mine from years back had introduced me to the album Atmospherics by James Bernard. Prior to hearing it, I simply did not “get” electronic music. But, I think he gave it to me at a time ripe for my being able to come around and understand at least one tiny facet of the sounds and patterns possible in electronica. Since then, I’ve realized there’s a whole world of music which can hardly be called a genre much as one does not call music with violins a genre.
The entire album really is wonderful.
