Often when practicing, I will record the sessions. My practices are really meditations as I do onstage, but I’m more free to make bits of errors and mistakes.

Still, interesting things make their way out. I thought that people might be interested in some of the more raw materials that eventually make their way into the more polished albums.

I tend to name pieces, at least when I first finish them, as something that has been going on around me or as the first thing that comes to mind after finishing. Right now, I’m still in awe of the possibilities created by playing music in both the internet and real-life worlds at the same time as we did on Saturday in Philadelphia. It was simply a great experience.

These are the second and third movements in today’s sessions. I hope you enjoy them!
