This is clearly a late posting, but I didn’t think to look for press for the event until now. Several children from the JCC in Skokie, IL put on a play of David & Lisa. It is a play that originated from a novel of the 60’s and has numerous psychiatric diagnoses carried in its themes. They had approached me with some questions, and I was delighted to help out however I could.
The plays are done at this point, which makes this post bittersweet. The cast was wonderful, and I imagine future plays at the JCC to be equally as charming as this one. Seeing the kids work together to create an enjoyable play was an inspiring experience of which I was happy to play a small part.
