Norm MacDonald’s “Based on a True Story” book is quite entertaining. It’s a mix of reality, fantasy, drama, and something else, I’m not sure. And, it’s well written, and likely not for the faint of dark humor.
In any case, here are a couple of quotes I found entertaining:

“I remember a psychiatrist once telling me that I gamble in order to escape the reality of life, and I told him that’s why everyone does everything.” p112
