Most any journey, project, or action for that matter, seems improved by an initial pause – a deep breath to somehow ground us, however that magic works.

I have talked about it many times, and I will do so many more. Maybe I’m trying to remind myself of its importance.

Regardless of how often I speak of it, it can be terribly difficult to remember the pause’s possibility and power. How is such a simple useful act so elusive?

Whether in flow or in scatter, it does not readily come to mind.
